            Based from what I have read so far in the memoir, I have come to the conclusion that I do not want to be in Jeanne's shoes, if I had a choice. However, since this was forced upon them, I would have probably reacted the way Jeanne did if I was at her age and lived during that time. I would have reluctantly complied with the authorities and my parents in going to and staying at Manzanar.
